Yes, tours make a great gift. Contact us and we'll sort a voucher for the tour or value of your choice.
Children (ages 2–15) travel at a reduced rate on every tour, shown on each tour page. For families and larger groups, message us about a private booking.
Our coach tours (Blue Mountains, Northern Beaches) pick up from four central points — Circular Quay, Town Hall on George St, Central Station coach bays, and Darling Harbour — each a short walk (under 1 km) from anywhere in the CBD. Your exact spot and time come through on your confirmation.
Full-day tours depart in the morning and return in the late afternoon or early evening. Exact times are on your confirmation email.
For public tours we use central pickup points rather than door-to-door, which keeps the day efficient and on time for everyone. All points are an easy walk from the city. Private tours can be more flexible — just ask.
Please arrive a few minutes early — tours leave promptly so the whole group gets the full day. Late arrivals and no-shows aren't refundable, but call or message us straight away and we'll help however we reasonably can.
Your confirmation email includes the precise meeting spot and a map pin, plus a description of the vehicle or guide to look for. If you're ever unsure on the day, call the number on your confirmation.
Transport (for coach tours), your local guide, and all the entries, lookouts, ferries and cruises listed on the tour page. The Northern Beaches tour includes all ferries plus the Pittwater and Sydney Harbour cruises. Meals and personal spending aren't included.
No — we stop somewhere good and let you choose what you fancy (and cater to any dietary preference easily). It keeps costs down and the food better.
Yes — bring swimmers and a towel. There's time built in for a dip, and your guide will point you to the safest, best spots on the day.
Yes — public tours are shared, small-group experiences (typically 8–14 guests). If you'd prefer just your own party, book a private tour.
Of course. Bring snacks and water for the road; we also stop where you can grab a coffee or a bite.
Yes — rain or shine. Misty valleys and moody coastlines can be the most memorable. We only cancel for genuinely unsafe conditions (severe weather, road closures), and if we do, you can reschedule or get a full refund.
Public tours: free changes or cancellations up to 24 hours before departure; non-refundable within 24 hours. Private tours and groups of 10+ have their own terms (deposit and tiered refunds). Full detail is in our Terms & Conditions.
Yes — for public tours, just let us know by email at least 24 hours before, subject to availability on your new date.
In the rare event we cancel (for safety or circumstances beyond our control), you'll be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
It varies by tour. The Blue Mountains is easy to moderate (with optional steps at Wentworth Falls). The Northern Beaches is moderate, including a short steep climb up Barrenjoey. Most walking is optional and self-paced — you can always enjoy a lookout while others go further.
Some stops involve natural terrain, stairs or uneven ground. Please contact us before booking and we'll give you an honest assessment of each tour and tailor what we can.
Yes. The day tours suit active families. Child tickets (ages 5–15) are available on every tour. Tell us your kids' ages and we'll point you to the best fit.
No strict minimum, but the full-day tours involve a lot of time out and about, so they suit children who are comfortable with a big day. Reach out if you're unsure.
Absolutely — many guests simply enjoy the lookouts and skip the longer walks. Let us know and your guide will make sure you get the best of the day at your pace.
Humpbacks migrate past Sydney from roughly May to November, peaking in June–July on the way north, with mothers and calves often closer to shore from September. Barrenjoey Headland on the Northern Beaches tour is a recognised land-based viewing spot.
No — they're wild animals and we'd never promise one. But in peak season the odds from Barrenjoey are genuinely good.
All three run year-round. The Blue Mountains is gorgeous in autumn and crisp in winter; the Northern Beaches shines in spring and summer (and whale season); the Rocks walk is great any time. Honestly, there's no bad season — just bring the right layers.
Yes. Private tours give you your own guide and vehicle and a flexible pace — ideal for families, friends, special occasions or corporate days. Get in touch for a quote.
For private and small-group tours, yes — we can emphasise your interests, whether that's photography, history, hiking, wildlife or just a relaxed pace. Send us a note about what you're after.
We comfortably handle private groups of up to about 30, and larger groups on a case-by-case basis. Groups of 10+ are booked under our private-tour terms.
Yes — a guided day out is a great team experience. Tell us your group size, date and what you're hoping for and we'll build something.
Comfortable closed walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), a refillable water bottle and a light layer — mountain and coastal weather can shift fast. For the Northern Beaches, add swimmers and a towel. For the Blue Mountains in winter, a warm layer (it can be 8–10°C cooler than the city).
Most places take card, but a little cash is handy for small cafés or a coffee van. You'll want money for meals, which aren't included.
You can keep a daypack with you, but please don't bring large luggage — there isn't secure storage and you'll want to be light for the walks. Travelling with bags? Check with us first.
